Venom from venomous snakes is a highly toxic mixture composed of various molecules such as proteins, peptides, and nucleotides, capable of killing living organisms in the biological world. Currently, researchers have extracted numerous proteins and peptides from the venom of diverse creatures including lizards, venomous snakes, bees, and scorpions. Studies indicate these active substances offer certain benefits to the human body in specific aspects.

Snake venom peptides comprise numerous polypeptide components, most of which are stable molecules capable of surviving the harsh proteolytic environment within the venom glands. Among these, one exceptionally small peptide consists of three amino acids. Subsequent research synthesized a bioactive fragment through amino acid synthesis, creating a biomimetic peptide named for its mechanism mimicking that of the snake venom toxin Waglerin-1. We refer to it as Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate. It inhibits muscle movement by blocking sodium ion release into muscle cells, thereby suppressing neuromuscular contraction and reducing wrinkle formation.
