What is Peptide?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids linked by peptide (carbonyl) bonds after a condensation reaction, with H₂O removed. The following example is the simplest of two connected amino acids.

Is Nad A Peptide?
NAD+ is a non-peptide coenzyme substance. Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) is not a peptide because the bond between adenine and nicotinamide is not a peptide bond, but rather a glycosidic bond. Nevertheless, many companies selling NAD+ still refer to it as NAD+ peptide. It is an enzyme naturally present in every cell throughout the body, playing a critical role in energy metabolism (storage and transfer). Oral formulations consist of precursors such as nicotinamide riboside (NR) and nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN).

Some Popular Products Of NAD
NAD powder is a common component in many energy-enhancing and anti-aging supplements. It is often combined with ingredients such as resveratrol and used for cell tissue repair, increasing one's own energy and resisting aging, etc.
