Honokiol is one of the main components of Magnolia bark extract. Other phenolic components include magnolol, tetrahydromagnolol, isomagnolol, bornylmagnolol, piperitylmagnolol, piperitylmagnolol, dipiperitylmagnolol, magnatriol, magnloignan, syringaresinol, Syringapeside-4-o-β-D-glucopyranoside, 6'-o-Methyl-honokiol, etc.

1. Recrystallize the crystals with cyclohexane to obtain magnolol. Concentrate the mother liquor to precipitate crystals, recrystallize with cyclohexane, and obtain colorless plate-like crystals, which are magnolol crystals. The yield of magnolol is 85%, and the yield of magnolol is 74%.
